Entraspan has been developing web-based mission critical enterprise applications since before the turn of the century, providing a deep understanding of the software and underlying protocols. Web 2.0 was defined as the AJAX model for web-applications. But has been construed to include graphics design and even the economy. We will continue to develop AJAX based applications. Have worked with Java application servers from Caucho, Jetty, TomCat, WebLogics and some others. Currently deploying Caucho but sticking to standards makes it easy to switch. Have deployed large Apache configurations since it's initial release. Very familiar with configuring modules, secure sites, load balanced sites and more. Some experience with other servers. Created interfaces for FedEx, UPS, USPS, PayPal, eBay, Amazon, hotels.com, and several others. XML is ideal for intrasystem communication but other formats are still better in some cases. Graphics design is best left to experts in the field. Preferred interface is to provide adequate CSS tags in the generated HTML for designers to create the required look and feel. |
